Allison Robbins is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been serving both youth and adults for the past thirteen years. She started her internship at Kaiser Permanente working with children and adults who suffered from mental health and substance use disorders. Allison has continued to work with adults and teens throughout the years.

Allison has had the privilege to supervise both substance use disorder programs and mental health programs. She has been trained in evidence-based practices, with a focus in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Both these practices help in the areas of anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, and other mood disorders, along with substance use disorders. Allison takes on a strength-based approach when working with individuals and meets the client where they are at. She allows a safe space for the client to feel heard, work through whatever challenges they might be facing, in the hope of working with the client to make positive changes in their life.

Allison lived in Southeast Alaska for 10 years. She and her husband continue to stay connected with the communities up North. She keeps an active license in Alaska to practice as a mental health provider so that she can continue to serve the Alaskan population.
