Dr. Brooke Bluestein
Licenses: Licensed Psychologist, (Ohio and Alaska)
Specialties: ADHD, Autism, Testing & Evaluation, Trauma & PTSD, Teens, Coaching, Gifted & Twice-Exceptional, Life Transitions, Academic Pressure, Perfectionism, ESA Letters
-
Dr. Brooke has a deep passion for working with teenagers and neurodivergent individuals navigating life transitions, academic pressure, perfectionism, and self-identity. Whether a client is adjusting to high school, preparing for college, or working through executive dysfunction and self-doubt, she helps them build resilience, manage stress, and develop genuine self-compassion without sacrificing who they are.
As a licensed psychologist in Ohio and Alaska, Dr. Brooke specializes in ADHD assessments and coaching for clients of all ages. She understands that ADHD doesn't always look the way people expect — it can be missed for years until a new phase of life makes symptoms impossible to ignore. Her special interest in ADHD means her brain genuinely lights up helping others learn to work with their neurodivergent minds rather than mask their symptoms.
Dr. Brooke also specializes in therapy for gifted and twice-exceptional clients. Drawing on her own lived experience as a high-achieving student who found herself floundering after graduation, she brings deep insight to those who've always been told they could handle anything and are now wondering why everything feels so hard. She provides both practical strategies and emotional support, helping clients use the skills that made them successful to build a life that actually feels good to them. She also provides ESA letters.
Outside the office, Dr. Brooke is an avid animal lover with two rescue dogs, Ivy and Ziggy, and a rotating foster crew of dogs, cats, and kittens. A lifelong pianist, she nearly majored in piano performance and still plays as often as she can on her beloved Steinway upright. She is also well on her way to turning her home into a greenhouse with over 200 plants and a golden pothos she's kept alive across nine homes and four states.
